Here at Autoliv Test Centre we offer test services that are supported by an experienced team of test personnel guided by national and international standards and backed up by a considerable investment in state of the art test equipment.

Crash Test Dummies Information

Whether for regulation homologation or development, Autoliv offers an extensive range of barrier crash testing in the most sophisticated under-cover facility in Australia. Facility accreditation to Australian Design Regulations is provided by DOTRS, and overseas homologation approval is available through a recognised 3rd party. Frontal and side barrier testing is available with extensive data acquisition and photo instrumentation support, including a 13m film pit. Autoliv has an extensive range of side impact and frontal dummies, all calibrated & instrumented on-site. Pre and post test vehicle measurements can be taken with a 3D FARO arm, and an extensive workshop caters for vehicle structural and electrical modifications.
