Crash Dynamic Test Information

Frontal Sled Testing
In addition to bungee sled capabilities, Autoliv offers full scale sled testing capabilities for complete vehicle Body-In-White and reinforced vehicle bucks. Sled testing is performed on the main barrier test track using a declaration sled and a tuneable bending bar brake system. Sophisticated software enables testing staff to develop and optimise crash declaration pulses, prior to actual testing. State of the art on-board data acquisition and high-speed video units enable fast, reliable output, available for immediate customer review post-test.

Side Impact Sled Testing
Autoliv is proud to offer the most sophisticated side impact sled simulation system in the world today. Developed as the benchmark system for the Autoliv Group, the proprietary Side Impact Sled (SIS) system can be configured at mimic ECE95, side impact into a pole and US LINCAP test events. The system permits independent tuning of seat, door and roof rail motion, and is the preferred dynamic testing solution for side airbag and inflatable curtain development. EuroSID, EuroSID2 and US SID dummies are available.
